Check your contract and your state's rules. The kit is general information for construction professionals, not legal, accounting, insurance, tax or safety-compliance advice. The time frames in it, such as 24 hours and 48 hours, are our internal targets, not legal requirements. Have your attorney review any form before you rely on it.

Jeff Newland has spent 25 years in construction. In 2023 he founded Bold Commercial Construction, a general contractor based in Longview, Texas, that builds commercial projects in several states.
